How is Technical Assistance Organized?

Cedap is one of the few companies that provide their customers with the support of a dedicated technical support team specialised in FFS machines.
Their role is to be at the customers’ disposal for new products approval, in order to optimise their use and to call out promptly in case of anomalies in machine sheet processing.
In order to optimise support, our Technical Assistants are equipped with sets of modern portable tools, that allow to measure thermoformed pots vertical compression resistance or to carry out quality on-site check-ups.


In which case do you help your clients?
Our objective is to strike a balance between plastic supply and thermoforming machine. When a general problem arises, we analyse the possible causes on site, whatever the location.
We follow up to verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.

How do you optimize cost-effectiveness for your customers?
Thickness reduction is our favourite credo.
In certain cases we advise to use new punches, new materials, new shapes...
We follow a pre-established protocol based on the study of RCV(Vertical Compression Resistance).
Of course we also help our clients to find specific logistical or ergonomic solutions.


Do you also provide sales support?
Yes. We help our clients to define and specify their needs. If needed we resort to our R &D Department to develop specific products.
