CEDAP: a pioneer in FFS applications

Acronym for European Company of Plastic Applications, Cedap was established in 1963 in an industrial building in the dockyard area of the Principality of Monaco, with its principal activity: production of polystyrene sheets.
At present Cedap is a division of Siamp-Cedap.

Cedap is one of the fore-front companies that is specialised in the field of "Form Fill Seal" (FFS) applications for dairy products packaging. Pioneers in bicolour, striped and laminated PS, the company designed all the industrial tools and developed the technical expertise for these new products.

Starting from a production plant in France (1973) and a production site in Belgium (1998), Cedap expanded its activity in Europe, always remaining in tune with their customers and in pace with new technologies in the polymer extrusion field.

Subsequent to an initial association with a leading Mexican thermoforming company, Cedap Mexico was established in 2001 to serve the American market.

With its four production facilities, Cedap continues to expand its production capabilities in thermoformable polystyrene and remains committed to serve the food-packaging industry.
